Mary Alice, Dave and Harris

Sunday:

We spent a wonderful week last week visiting Mary Alice and Dave at their cabin at Seneca Fall, NY.  What a great week.   We spent our time relaxing at the lake and enjoying time with our friends.  Other days we visited some wineries on the wine trail.

Thursday,

We headed to the Laundromat to do the 10 days of laundry we needed to get done.  Mary Alice and Dave met us for breakfast at a restaurant near the laundry mat.  After breakfast we headed to their house to hang our clothes on their line.   After lunch we visited a couple of wineries near their cabin.  When we walked into Napp winery, our server looked familiar.  We met him 6 yrs ago at another winery.  We so enjoyed him 6 yrs ago and that didn't change this time.   Then we headed back to the cabin to chill awhile Then to Wolfe's for dinner.

After dinner it was time to head back to the campground to begin getting ready to leave on Friday.

Friday:

Moving day!!  We were up early, getting the camper ready for the trip to Chautauqua Institution in Maysville, NY.    We arrived at Pendergast Campground a little after lunch time.  After getting set up and ready for our time, we called our friends Beth and Bruce who live at Chautauqua Institution year round.  The invited us over for dinner.    Chautauqua Institution is a place for summer learning for 9 weeks.  This weekend was the first weekend of the 9 week summer sessions.

Saturday:

Our day began with a walk around the campground.  After breakfast we got some much needed things done around the camper.  It had been over a week since we cleaned.   Beth and Bruce came for a visit in the afternoon.

Sunday:  Today we headed to Chautauqua Institution for worship at the Presbyterian Service.  After that we went to the BIG interdenominational service at the amphitheatre.  Then to lunch and a walking tour around the area.  What a wonderful place.    After our walk, we went back to Beth and Bruce's to sit around a talk some more.   Then back to the camper.

Have a great day!
